Mediatile Announce Smaller Footprint Component Player

MediaTile focuses on providing customers with cost-effective, high quality digital signage products backed by the industry’s finest service and support. To provide this level of service, MediaTile must focus on delivering the latest technology. Effective immediately, Mediatile is introducing a new Component Player that provides new features in a smaller footprint.

In keeping with industry advancements and the growing popularity of high-definition digital signage, MediaTile introduces a newly designed Component Player as of January 2010. Key changes to the new system include:

• Reduced volume footprint by 35%
• Overall weight reduced by 10%
• Increased number of available USB ports

The MediaTile Component Player integrates everything you need to deploy and manage an advertising, educational or promotional broadcast network quickly and easily. Simply connect the Component Player to an LCD, plasma, or projector for a ready-to-run, fully connected digital signage display. The Mediatile Component Player includes:

• High-definition digital video output capability
• Audio output
• Embedded fanless computer fully configured with MediaCast software
• Built-in internet connection with cellular-broadband, Wi-Fi, or LAN support
• Controlled by MediaCast web-based portal

The new Component Player reduces the overall footprint of the system by 35%. Features of the new player are:

• Width 11 in.
• Depth 2.25 in
• Weight 11 lbs
• USB Ports 6

The new MediaTile Component Player operates in the exact same manner as the previous version and fully supports the same display resolution, media, playlists, multi-zone playlists, dynamic content and other elements supported by MediaCast 4 and the Classic Portal interfaces.
