The Mediacast Portal is organised by a variety of "Channels" which include Media, Displays, Schedule, Reports, Admin, and Help. These Channels are the nexus from which you can easily control your entire digital signage network. With highly intuitive interface, drag and drop control and thumbnail views of media, playlists and schedules, users become productive in minutes.

 

Media Channel - You can easily upload and manage thousands of media assets and create playlists and multi-zone playlists ranging from simple ad loops to professional quality programming. An online playlist previewer enables you to review a playlist or multi-zone playlist assigned to a display, and confirm correct programming on the fly.

 

Displays Channel - Gives you complete control over your displays or media-players. You can edit settings and properties including volume, time zone and even location, to ensure the automatic delivery of localised weather and newsfeeds. Easily create "Groups" of displays to automate management, scheduling, delivery, and reporting.

 

Schedule Channel - Dramatically simplifies the delivery and management of playlists to your digital signage network. The Schedule Channel takes care of redundant tasks so you can focus on delivering the right message to the right screen at the right time.

 

Reports Channel - Provides a summary of play-out reports and detailed log files for every media player on the network. The integrated touch-track reporting mechanism provides customer interaction data for touch-screen enabled displays, delivering market and consumer business intelligence.

 

Admin Channel - Is a centralized user management facility that lets you create users, assign permissions, set up alerts and customise your broadcast portal. While you can easily establish access rights for each user at a granular level, you can also create "Roles" for users with common functions. Similarly, you can create "Clients" that relate to particular content elements, playlists and schedules, giving precise control over specific media-based assets to employees or external users.
