Mediatile Broadcast Portal

The MediaTile Broadcast Portal is a hosted web-based application that provides an extremely powerful, yet easy to use way to control and manage your digital signage network. MediaTile’s Broadcast Portal lets you control a signage network of one-to-thousands of displays, all at the touch of a from your standard internet-based web-browser.

The Broadcast Portal is unique in that no additional software is required to install on either your PC or each MediaTile player. You can securely upload and control your content to the Broadcast Portal, create playlists and schedule the delivery of content and playlists to every MediaTile player. The Broadcast Portal then uses this data and scheduling parameters to:

You interact with the Broadcast Portal though a variety of “Channels”. The Channels let you access the system’s facilities to perform your day-to-day content management, playlist creation and scheduling activities. You have access to multiple channels including:

The Schedule Channel – lets you create, view and edit your playlists and programming schedules. It also allows you to schedule an instant deployment or pre-programmed playback of content to a group of displays.

The Content Channel – lets you upload and manage content files from your PC to the Broadcast Portal. Using the content channel you can assign properties to each piece of content for automating programming schedules.

The Group Channel – lets you define the relationship of your MediaTile devices to your content. You can create a single group of all your tiles, group them by region, or organize them in other ways. This enables you to fine tune the right message to the right market.

The Reports Channel - lets you review content that have been played across a single device, or Group of devices for auditing or billing purposes. View or print summary or detailed playlog reports for a single device or group of devices. Output CSV or XML data files for more detailed reporting and analysis.

The Accounts Channel - lets you create and control user access, roles and permissions for your Broadcast Portal. You can add a user and authorize them to have access to specific “Channels”. You can also limit their access to specific functions within a channel with our detailed access control list capability.

The Monitoring Channel and the Alerts Channel lets you continuously monitor your digital signage network and assign alert emails and messages to specific displays or groups of displays.

The Client Channel - helps you organize and automate your daily content management routines with pre-defined associations between Content, Users, Playlists, and MultiZone Playlists.
